The popular Coolmax Fresh is a light elastic fabric made of Coolmax® polyester fiber, Hypermicro polyester fiber, and spandex. The Fresh version of Coolmax comes with a permanent anti-bacterial Ag+ treatment and a six-lobe profile that provides excellent physiological properties—elasticity and strong transport capabilities that ensure moisture is wicked away from the body rapidly and effectively. The Hypermicro polyester fibers vastly improve and soften its feel. Thanks to the use of both of these polyester fibers, this product resists UV radiation, which means you are protected from both UVA and UVB radiation as much as if you were wearing top-quality tanning cream with an SPF of 50!
Lycra® polyurethane elastomer fibers also help to keep this material highly elastic and prevent material fatigue.
These products are easy to maintain: they retain their colors extremely well, last 4 times as long as cotton versions of the same products, dry quickly, hold their shape, and do not suffer fatigue. They are even available in a reflecting safety color!
