Big blue sky

Do you know when the sky is at its bluest? What you imagine when you
hear that a “big sky blue“ can be found in Bystrice pod Hostynem. It is
here, right below the Svaty Hostyn pilgrimage site, that our products are
manufactured five times a week

In the heart of Europe

We could have had it made in China, we could have shipped it halfway across the planet under a Liberian flag with a Filipino crew, but we simply like to make things more complicated for us. :)

We make Sensor in Bystřice pod Hostýnem because we feel that it makes sense to live and work in the Czech Republic.

20 Years Anniversary

Do you remember what you did 20 years ago?

Do you recall the times when tea was in a tin pot and there was snow in winter?

Exactly in that time I ran out every day in Svitavy passing both ponds and a railway track. I was wearing an anonymous first layer which entirely unanonymously scratched and smelled.

I dreamed about a T-shirt that is comfortable and intergalactically functional.

I read an article about DuPont, an American company that produced shape fibers, functional and as comfortable as cotton.

I collected my courage and wrote to DuPont. Imagine my surprise when, after a few weeks, an envelope appeared in my mailbox, containing a workbook and contact info of a factory that can process these fibers.

I have made the owner of the factory laugh by telling him I want 100 meters of this fiber knitted. However, as we know, blessed are the wicked. That could be the reason why I got my 100 meters and made my first batch of 70 tees. They were made from yarn, had flat seams and the label read "Funnier than a Swedish movie".

The year was 1999. They sold again and again. Then came years of models, colours and innovations.

We have grown and Sensor has grown with us. Every year we wrote into our diaries: Once again!

Today is the future and we try to make functional clothing which make sense in Bystřice pod Hostýnem.

Thanks to you, we can produce it in the Czech Republic.

About
Sensor
Sensor has become a synonym of functional clothing, socks, cycling apparel and good mood. The will to produce clothes stood behind the origin of our brand. During its existence, Sensor achieved many successes and became a leader in Czech and Slovak market for functional attire. Sensor was the first local company to obtain a DuPont licence for Coolmax apparel, was the first to introduce flat seams across the whole collection and debuted the usage of bonded technology for knitting. Last but not least, Sensor refreshed the tired textile market with then rare appearences of smiley faces, self irony and catalogue editorials that are readable.

What do you say? How do you like Sensor apparel? A lot, you say? Then let's go shopping. Tee, beanie, socks from Sensor, all this can widen the pupils in your eyes.
