Merino Active

The raw wind cuts into your face. It is snowing heavily. This is ideal weather for sport. That is, if you are wearing Merino Active. This thermal wear has been custom made to provide the best performance even in the harshest weather conditions.

The functional wear from this collection completely fulfills all standards. Plus is it made from 100% top-quality New Zealand wool. Functional shirts, underwear, and other items from the Merino Active series are also treated with a special polyurethane material. This unique technology protects even the smallest fibres so your clothing never feels uncomfortable, even when you perspire. This is what gives our Merino thermal wear from Bystřice pod Hostýnem its charm.

In the winter, Merino Active wear will perfectly warm you even in high humidity. In the winter, it provides ideal ventilation so there is no risk of overheating. Thanks to its natural antibacterial protection, it does not smell even after a few days of wear. And you will also never have to worry about its environmental impact. We sew Merino Active thermal wear from renewable resources. We do so without exception, and every material that we use is eco-friendly.

When did you last push your limits? Conscientious athletes know they need much more than a sweater given to them by their grandmother for Christmas. Merino Active thermal wear is the perfect contrast to that. Take the challenge and try it on. The world lies at your feet. Go into it actively!

100% Merino will hug you, keep you warm and work great for your activities.
The negative properties of wool, i.e. felting and "biting" when sweating, are suppressed by special polyurethane treatments. Super wash - it is done already at the yarn, the polyurethane is condensed by plasma discharge. Nanosofteffect - applied at the end of the treatment on the dyed knitted fabric. Plus sanforization, where even the finest hairs are smoothed.

How to care for Merino Active products

Clothes made of sheep's wool only wash in hand in the moonlight. No, we're kidding. Those days are long gone. Sheep's wool is naturally antibacterial, so it can withstand repeated wear. And even sheep's wool socks! That's why merino clothing is a great partner for long treks.

But nothing should be overdone and you should care for the wool like you would your own coat, so follow our guidelines:

Avoid changing temperatures! Washing and soaking must be done in water at the same temperature to avoid shrinking the clothes. A smart washing machine will maintain the temperature for you when you select the wool programme. Don't exceed 30 °C (don't worry about lower temperatures), spin the drum at 800 rpm max to avoid breaking the fibres.

Fill the washing machine only ⅔ full and use a powder designed for wool, preferably Lanolin. Do not use fabric softener.

NEVER dry on the heater. Don't hang your clothes but spread them out on the drying rack. Dry the clothes lightly with a towel beforehand so they are not too heavy.
