There's nothing to consider here, it's clear from the look of it. Higher weight, more materials, more comfort. The Merino Upper collection combines the qualities of New Zealand's superior wool with an exceptionally comfortable and high-quality man-made fibre. Right here in the Czech Republic, Sensor makes some of the most versatile sports hoodies on the market. Purely Czech handmade to help you take on the world.
The benefits of Merino are unquestionable. Thanks to its ability to wick away sweat and keep you warm despite the humidity, it is the absolute ruler in functional clothing. In this case, we've added a little human ingenuity to the exclusive natural material. The soft faux silk interior eliminates any uncomfortable biting and gives the sweatshirts much more strength and durability. In addition, the enrichment with silver ions has given this knit a first-class antibacterial protection.
With so many unique features, it's no wonder this line has made its way into the mountains as more than just a second layer. The wide range of cuts and variations allows you to wear the sweatshirt even in casual wear. Why not? Active and adventurous natures can hardly aim higher than for the Merino Upper when choosing clothing.
A higher level of functional clothing. The Merino Upper collection is a two-layer knit whose uniqueness lies in the combination of two exclusive materials. Long wool fibres wick away moisture with precision, while high-quality synthetics ensure comfort. Why stay low to the ground? Go for better.
Merino Upper was created by combining two perfectly complementary materials. It is a double layer double face knit. Merino will keep you warm even in extreme conditions and reduces odour for extended wear and regulates your body temperature perfectly. The inner nano soft polypropylene silk has a permanent antibacterial effect due to the use of Ag+ ions in the structure of the base fibre giving the knitwear durability and strength. 3 cut options, your perfect second layer.

Clothes made of sheep's wool only wash in hand in the moonlight. No, we're kidding. Those days are long gone. Sheep's wool is naturally antibacterial, so it can withstand repeated wear. And even sheep's wool socks! That's why merino clothing is a great partner for long hikes.
But nothing should be overdone and you should care for the wool like you would your own coat, so follow our guidelines:
Avoid changing temperatures! Washing and soaking must be done in water at the same temperature to avoid shrinking the clothes. A smart washing machine will maintain the temperature for you when you select the wool programme. Don't exceed 30 °C (don't worry about lower temperatures), spin the drum at 800 rpm max to avoid breaking the fibres.
Fill the washing machine only ⅔ full and use a powder designed for wool, preferably Lanolin. Do not use fabric softener.
NEVER dry on the heater. Don't hang your clothes but spread them out on the drying rack. Dry the clothes lightly with a towel beforehand so they are not too heavy.
